About the PMA

The PMA works closely with the Writers' Guild of Great Britain, British Actors Equity, The Directors Guild, broadcasters, production companies and other organisations. Successful negotiations and agreements to which we have contributed include the BBC Commissioning Agreement for Writers for which the PMA is a co-signatory with the WGGB and the BBC, as well as various agreements with PACT. In association with Equity, the PMA recently published a far-reaching protocol covering productions designed specifically for Internet broadcast.

Industry minimum terms agreements are available to members via our website. Also available are certain PMA model agreements or recommended terms for those areas of the industry where a negotiated minimum terms agreement does not exist.
