The structure
The PMA has a large elected council comprising some 20 experienced agents. The council is structured so as to reflect the different areas of performing arts in which our members practise. The council appoints three co-chairs.
We hold regular meetings to explore industry issues and to share information on fee structures and working conditions.
We divide our meetings into those dealing with issues for actors' agents, and those for dramatists' agents (although time is also given to directors' and designers' issues). Each of these groups has two co-chairs chosen from amongst the council.
